Share your About Me — and control what stays private
Every section of your About Me has its own audience switch. Here's how sharing works, and what never leaves your device without a yes.

Your About Me is a set of sections — Love Languages, What's Shaped Me, Lifestyle, private stats and more. Each one carries its own visibility, and the defaults are deliberately conservative.
- Go to Me → About Me and open any section.
- Each section shows its audience: Public, Connections, or Private.
- Public sections appear on your profile and in Discover. Connections-only sections show to people you've accepted. Private sections show to nobody — until you personally share them.
Sharing a private section in chat
In any chat, tap the + and choose Share About Me. Pick the sections to include — including private ones, if you choose. Two things to understand:
- Sharing in chat is per-person consent. Sharing your private stats with one connection reveals them to that one person, in that one thread. It does not publish them anywhere, change the section's visibility, or show them to anyone else.
- The other person can request a section too. A request is just a request — nothing is revealed by it, and declining is a single tap that sends no awkward notification essay.
What's never shared automatically
Private stats and the "private" section never appear on your public profile, your discover card, or in match previews, regardless of any other setting. The only path out is you, in a chat, choosing a recipient. That rule is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI — it's pinned by tests.
