Send a gift (and what the other person controls)

You can send an actual, physical gift to a connection — without ever seeing their address, and without them seeing that rule bend.

1. In a chat, open the menu and tap Send a gift.
2. Pick from the gift shop. Prices are what you see; there's no markup theater.
3. If your connection has gift receiving ON, you check out and you're done. Their address is used by us to deliver — it is never shown to you.
4. If they have gifts OFF, you'll see a card offering to ask them to turn it on. They get a friendly nudge in the thread and a one-tap path to their gift settings. Whether they flip it is entirely up to them.

If you're the recipient

• Gift receiving is off by default. Nothing about you is shippable until you say so.
• Turn it on in Me → Gifts, where your delivery address lives. The address is visible only to you and used only for deliveries.
• You can see who sent a gift before accepting delivery, and decline one silently.

The privacy rule in one line

Gifts move through us like a locker service: the sender pays, we deliver, and the address never crosses the thread. A gift is a gesture — it shouldn't be a data leak.
