A playing card and a die

The fastest way to make a new connection feel like an actual person is to play one round of something. Here's the whole flow.

  1. Open your connection's chat and tap the dice button, or browse the Games tab and pick from the library.
  2. Free accounts have five starter games unlocked — one from each family, so there's always a fit. Hot Takes is the classic first pick: fast, funny, zero pressure.
  3. Tap Challenge. They get a notification; the challenge card sits in your shared thread.
  4. Answer your round whenever — no timer (unless you chose Speed Round, in which case: five seconds, good luck).
  5. When you've BOTH answered, the reveal unlocks for both of you at once: your answers side by side, your match score, and usually at least one result worth arguing about.

Good to know

  • Neither of you can see the other's answers early. Ever. Simultaneous reveal is the whole point.
  • A game you've played before deals fresh questions the next time — repeats only happen when a deck is truly exhausted, and the decks are deep.
  • The score isn't a grade. A 40% on Would You Rather with a good argument attached beats a silent 90% every time.
  • Results expire from the thread after a while if you set them to — check Settings if you want your reveals ephemeral.

Stuck mid-game because they haven't played their half? That's what the nudge on the challenge card is for. Use it shamelessly.
